In their long history of Expansion human colonists and mercenaries experienced many situations when hi tech devices and weapons tend to fail in the most crucial moments. That’s why many old technologies and designs were revieved to serve in the dangerous environments of the Frontier. And there is nothing more reliable and efficient among handguns than a large caliber revolver.
“Punisher” is manufactured on Old Terra as small series model of higher price tier. Few colonists or gunslingers can afford to buy this gun. The HR80 is able to shoot extremely powerful ammo, even 11,48х37,5mm “Super Magnum” designed for hunting carbines. Heavy weight and design (this revolver shoots from the lower chamber of the drum) make recoil less hurting, but only a skilled shooter can really master this monster.
On K’Tharsis this gun could be a suitable side arm for big gang leader or faction officer. A couple of accurate shots are enough to kill any humanoid even in combat armor. The devastating stopping power works excellent against most of the dangerous animals on the planet as well.
